Field

The entrance to the property consists of a strip of land 100 feet wide running along the west edge.  Here is a picture of it in the winter.
A local farmer was using this field for corn and soy beans until 2001.
We spend time turning the good rich black dirt into a garden.
This is the end result of our work.
Since we didn't weed things the only good crop ended up being spinach.  We had FAR more than we needed.
Over time the garden was taken over by local vegetation.  However, there are a number of grapes and fruit trees planted in there that could possible have survived the deer and rabbits.
