Timelines

This is my first attempt at organizing documentation showing the flowers that bloom in Welch Minnesota with regard to the date that I first noticed them blooming.

05/27/04  ---  The yellow Flag iris are just beginning to bloom.  Only those in full sun are blooming currently.  Many more to come.

05/27/04  ---  One wild lupine is blooming on Wild Plum property..  We have many and this one plant is way ahead of the others.

05/27/04  ---  Dogwood shrubs are in bloom along the sluice on Sunset property.  I planted from seed many years ago.

05/27/04  ---  Wild Mustard (at least that is what we call it ) is blooming along Belle creek.  It must like the moisture.  This has been blooming for at least one week already.         

05/28/04  ---  Goat's Beard is in bloom along the road side.         

05/29/04  ---  Two white, water irises on Sunset property started blooming today.  I forgot the species.  I bought on Internet.

05/29/04  ---  Also, noticed first lightning bugs.  They were all flying high and did not come down near the ground..
