Native to eastern North America, Beebalm is a perennial herb which is attractive to bees and hummingbirds. It has scarlet red flowers in June and August, It makes a nice addition to the herb bor flower garden. It is used in oils and perfumes to mask the odors of chemicals. It grows best in moist soils.
